I am a 21 year old asian male
from Glasgow, Scotland studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering at
the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. At the moment I am in my final
year and hope to graduate soon.
I was born in England but have spent most of my life here in Glasgow which is truly a city of architecture and design. I have a mother and twin sister who are very supportive. I am very interested in the Multimedia Environment, issues related to Science and Technology, music, video and graphic design. My main hobbies are listening to music, watching movies, exploring my PC, driving and video editing. In future I hope to get a good job and build on my career. Alongside my career I also hope to continue with my video editing skills that I have developed.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT AT UNIVERSITY |

My final year project is based on 'Video and Image Transmission
over the Internet' which involves investigating the various codecs in use
today that are used to compress/decompress video sequences generated with
an AVI format.
New methods which can be used to minimise the size of large video files and achieve good compression giving better quality than current methods are mentioned also which are a part of the research section of the project. Just click on the tab below marked PROJECT to view more details and results.
